Happy Birthday Papa,

My grandfather celebrates a birthday on September 11th. He went up to Jesus a couple of years ago and we sure do miss him. Since he has passed away on his birthday we as a family thought that it would be nice to remember Papa on his birthday by sending him some balloons. So I went down to the local grocery store that sells balloons and bought 20 of them and had the cashier help me blow them up with helium and he helped me get them into a large trash bag and carry them out to my car. The balloons were red with I love you on them. We also wrote on our own balloon with a marker. We enjoyed letting them go and taking the time to remember our Grandfather, Father, and Great-Grandfather. We all remember Papa in our own ways but how nice it was to stop whatever we were doing and remember him together.

Football Frenzy,

Football, Football, Football.......... now normally when a wife says this you think she is mad and crazy because thats all thats on the T.V. but, not this wife (this time anyways)
Hunter started football this year and it has been so much fun. He plays on Saturdays and had his 3rd game yesterday. So far they have won all there games buy large scores. Yesterday it was 26 Prairie Grove and 6 West Fork. Hunter is one of these kids that when he puts his mind to something he really goes for it. He will fight and do all he can to make sure he is doing his very best. So after a couple of practices and his daddy getting outside for hours after a two hour practice he got much better. Now I know you must think Ken is a little hard on him for going outside to practice after a two hour practice but, it was not Ken it was Hunter he would beg and say that he was ok to practice more and boy he would. Coach Charlie has moved him up to the A team and he was so proud when coach told him that he watched the game tape and told him that he was doing so good he would be moved. He was glowing. This is what being a Mom is all about these days in the Farrar household. With 3 practices a week and a game a week we are eating late dinners, the house is a mess, and the boys are up late, but this football stuff is what its all about for now.

Anthony wanted to make sure that I captured how much stuff he had in his backpack and was excited about finally getting to wear his six flags scooby shirt since I made them put their new vacation clothes up til school started. Which made life easy on me because they bought a ton of clothes on vacation that I didnt have to do alot of back to school shopping. Posted by Picasa

Anthony was really loaded down I thought he was gonna fall over on the first day of school. Posted by Picasa

Ken and his Geese, When the cat is away the mice will play. On friday I left to go see Angie in Omaha and Ken thought he would save some geese from this woman at work that didnt want them and they were strays to her house. So my goofy husband puts them in the trunk of my car and hauls them home. They ran off and I didnt found out about them til Sunday when I got home. Then they come back on Tuesday morning and come to find out they had been all over Prairie Grove. Now they are back in the yard and we feed them cracked corn.  Posted by Picasa
